Appointment Types
Many of the rights of the university-employed members of the organization are determined based on the appointment types, which are included in the letter of appointment and the pay slip. If you're unsure of your appointment type, here's a quick guide:
The rating is divided between student employees and non-student employees.
Student Employees:
Junior Teaching Assistant - Bachelor's or Master's degree student
Teaching Assistant and instructor - PhD students
Non-student Employees:
Teaching Fellow - Ranks including Teaching Fellow 1, Teaching Fellow A, and Teaching Fellow B
Adjunct Lecturer - Ranks including Adjunct Lecturer A, and Adjunct Lecturer B
*The rank in these two ratings varies according to one’s degree eligibility (B.A, M.A or PhD)
Parallel track - intended for professional instructors, language instructors, preparatory school instructions, workshops, and auxiliary subjects instructors, etc.
