The Right to a Hearing
Employers are obligated to perform a hearing before any termination of employment or reduction in the position percentage of employment.
The university must give written notice of the hearing before the meeting, detailing the reasons why the employer is considering terminating your employment, as well as details about the hearing’s date and location as well as the person(s) to lead the hearing.
It is within your rights to attend the hearing accompanied by representation - legal representation or a representative of the organization
