Pregnancy and Childbirth (Employees)
It is strictly forbidden to fire an employee during pregnancy or during parental leave.
A faculty member will not be required to compensate the institution by teaching a larger amount than usual before or after the parental leave, neither during the semester in which the birth occurred nor in another semester.
An employee must be reinstated in their job following parental leave - in the same position appointment percentage and the same position - for at least 60 days.
